Douglas Coast Saturday, January 24

I did some birding on the Douglas County Coastline. My best bird by far was a Glaucous Gull, a lifer for me!

Semipalmated Plover

I tried to climb out onto the Winchester Bay jetty and fell three times. It was very slick, I made it about half way and out and decided it wasn't worth it.
I also had a large flock of shorebirds on Sparrow Ridge Lane with around 400 Sanderlings and 40 Dunlin. It was very cool! Two semipalm plovers were also hanging out on the beach.

All in all a great trip!
